Sunset Terrace is a southeast Denver neighborhood composed of brick and frame ranches built in the 1950's.

The homes are quality-built and impress the inspectors that buyers hire. They range between 1100 square foot main levels and 1500. Almost all of them have basements, many full basements. The lot sizes average between 6,000 and 7,000 square feet. One car garages prevail but there are two car garages scattered throughout.

The Virginia Village/Ellis Community Association which oversees the larger area including Sunset Terrace watches, comments, and gives residents a voice with local government. Diane Wolta and her board of directors give their time graciously to make the surrounding neighborhoods the best possible places to live. The Association sends out a frequent newsletter announcing community changes, issues, resources, and meetings.
